Who is LoftusCountry Consulting?

Andy Loftus, President, has 12 years industry experience in computer system administration, software engineering, web programming, and project management. He currently enjoys working at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), Urbana, IL, as a System Engineer managing 1.5PB (yes, that's 1.5 x 1 million giga-bytes) of storage on six supercomputers and the storage network that inter-connects it all.

Andy has previously worked as a Technical Consultant to Leo Media, Inc., a business consulting firm; Software Engineer and Webmaster at Motorola; and a System Administrator and Software Engineer at the University of Illinois Physics Deparment.

Andy has written and/or co-authored several technical documents on Linux Storage topics, Storage Networking, and iSCSI. He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Andy holds a MS and BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign.
